Baselworld 2019 is upon us and I finally found some time to write for you a cross-section of the best I had the chance to see.

Right after entering the main hall,
you basically saw the end,

To be honest,
I understand that this is a really huge cost for companies that can rather invest in advertising and developing other products.
On the other hand,
for us traders,
it’s the only opportunity in the year,
if I don’t count SIHH and smaller events,
where we can see all the news,
make orders in one concentrated place in one period-and that’s probably the main reason for the exhibition.
Imagine that we as Watch de Luxe,
since we have more than 10 brands in our network,
would have to travel to 10 separate exhibitions or presentations.
Unthinkable!This one is also really exhausting.
Perhaps those responsible behind Baselworld could think a little and offer brands slightly better conditions.
We will see what the future will bring and who will have to threaten to leave,
or actually leave,
so that the competent understand the seriousness of the situation.
ROAD
I was finally able to fly instead of driving for up to 11 hours.
Even though I hate flying from the bottom of my heart,
really,
just like before every flight,
I have watched enough plane disasters.
The journey there was bearable thanks to the”maintenance cure”.
On the way back,
due to driving from the airport,
I had to skip the extras,
which was an obvious mistake.
